Wales’ largest housing, care and support provider has a new name, becoming Codi Group on 1st of January 2026.
The new identity for the Group, formed through the merger of Linc and Pobl, was confirmed in June.
Now, the two organisations have formally come together under a single identity and shared strategy, completing the transition into one new entity with a clear purpose and direction, focused on using collective strength to shape better futures for people and places in a sustainable, long-term way.
Codi is a not-for-profit organisation with a clear social purpose: to help people live well, feel supported and achieve their full potential. The name comes from the Welsh word meaning ‘rise’, recognising the Group’s deep-rooted Welsh identity and its desire to rise to meet customers’ expectations and the opportunities that lie ahead.
The Group now manages nearly 25,000 homes and provides care and support to 17,000 people. Employing more than 3,000 colleagues, it is a major contributor to the Welsh economy. Over the next five years, Codi plans to deliver more than 4,500 new homes, alongside continued investment in local communities.
